Milford Sound
We packed a picnic & headed north from Te Anau into Fiordland National Park. First stop: Mirror Lake. Then we stopped at the trailhead to the Routeburn Track, a hike that takes 3-4 days & takes you back over the island divide to the Queenstown side of the lake. We hiked up about an hour to a small lookout, had our picnic & came back down so we could make it to our cruise on Milford Sound. |
